this really improves on the mario formula you really use your platforming skills dodging bullets. the simpsons arcade game did similar things but having your character designed to be a platformer makes this work really well.
Pretty cool! I'm a fan of these 8 directional run-and-gun style games.
Wow Langit Lands is GREAT game! It's like platform game with an original spin. The Fun Factor is totally awesome. I give this game a 5 star review.
This is my entry to Vim Jam 2 whose theme is : On The Edge and requires Boss 
Story: Blobo is taking a good nap until a band of demons attacked. He decided to get rid of those demons for good so he can resume his nap.
Controls:
NumPad keys = move Blobo and aim shots
X = Shoot (can aim and shoot in 8 directions)
Z = Jump (can shoot while jumping)
Down+Z = Drop off platform
Enter = Pause (opens up Upgrade Menu) or confirm
F8 = Take screenshot
Features:
- Continuous shooting by holding shoot button.
- 8 directional shooting.
- Powerups.
- 2 Secrets
