What do you think?

Just finished my playthrough and here’s my thoughts:

God this game was a blast, I was so disappointed from GetLazy’s actions ruining what was going to be a masterpiece. I’m glad you steered away from the more weird topics presented with the original but still keeping the overall narrative and original concepts in mind. The designs of the animatronics all were really cool and although more features of their respective characters shouldve been added, making it obvious they’re robots wearing the faces of the lazy nights cast was a great direction.

Gameplay was so neatly designed, the risk/reward dynamics in the earlier nights was great. Whilst I do think the earlier nights were a bit too difficult (the later nights were HELL also screw that damn telescope), it still introduced mechanics in an appropriately designed and easy to understand manner and they all balanced with each other amazingly. All I’d say is increase the time it takes to deal with characters like the telescope specifically.

Whilst the visuals are as good as scratch graphics can get (minus adding your own assets), it still really worked. The visuals and logic used throughout was atmospheric and easy to understand (that ransomware jumpscare scared the daylights out of me). I do think updated visuals and the correction of spelling errors would greatly improve the experience, the visuals still aided the gameplay.

SPOILER STUFF BELOW

The final boss fight, whilst a bit tightly timed, was great although I do believe it couldve used a bot more uniqueness in its design. It felt too similar to the Undying fight from Nightmare Below Disney. I love how it’s actually a boss fight though, having you fight back was a great idea in concept and execution. I would advise trying to change things up and maybe add some stuff from the old finale? (Like maybe a generator you need to ensure stays on so you don’t get gassed like in the old blackout sequence showcased on the LazyNights game or other stuff to make it less about opening the door, running away then running back, repeat).

The evidence files and their obtainment method worked really well gameplay wise as it adds another level of difficulty to the night. Whilst having the codes blend into the darkness was impossible to find out without a tutorial, it still worked really well in execution.

I also really liked the direction of the story with its mystery approach, but I’ll admit some elements felt a bit too underdeveloped like who was John talking with and what happened to them? Why was Stephanie even kidnapped? Most of it couldve been communicated with visuals rather than straight up exposition but I was still invested all the way through.

Overall, it was such a great revamp of a game that deserved quality and no weird subject matters. A nice 8/10!

(btw if you want someone to help out with creating visuals or extra help I might know a guy called ErrorOccurred404)

A lot has happened since she went missing. Some speculated the worse, some lived from the ignorance, others gained a philosophy of coorporated-deception, and even some convinced themselves to believe in horrible fantasies. Of course, nowdays we know she's still alive, but no one really knows what was the deal with the public cover-up... Except me; I will tell you what really happened that day, but beware, perhaps some things are best to left forgotten, for good.

Work your self-imposed shift in the studio where THAT happened.

But don't think is gonna be that easy, you're not here to earn money, you're not here to earn approbation... You are here to save her, and to do that you must ███████ or else... well, you'll see. :)

Know your enviroment, and most important of all, know what was left in the building... inside where you are. Unfortunately, there are no cameras working; you can only scan for "objects" in a specific room, and the thing is, you don't know which each is each, so don't get lazy on the job ;]

THE TIME IS RUNNING OUT, EVERYTHING YOU NEED HAS ARRIVED, GOOD LUCK.

FULL GAME IS OUT, ENJOY MY (possibly) BEST FANGAME SO FAR!

We are in the home stretch now :)

They are coming for you...

What? Robots? Don't be stupid.

I've officially begun to work into the post-game stuff! Also, I've reached +280 objects (which is A LOT for a scratch game). So, of course, I still have like a whole month left of coding xd BUT EVERYTHING'S GOING FINE I PROMISE! See you eventually...

Huh??
