Ey, I can't say that this was a bad game. It had some cool puzzles, although I wish it didn't take me as long as it did to figure them out, which was roughly 9-15 minutes each puzzle. If your focus was to make this a puzzle game, then it worked pretty alright. If it was focused on some horror, there wasn't that much, if any. I do wish there were some horror elements to it, seeing the mist as a bigger, hulking, more animated mist monster walking around looking for you making weird noises, like Creation's hellish screams in Joy of Creation: Story Mode, if you've ever seen any gameplay of it. The sound design was fine, except for the mist never shutting up for a bit in a chase, lol. The backstory was interesting, to say the least. The lack of checkpoints did get a little annoying after trail-and-error dying over and over, but I appreciate the second checkpoint installation; trust me, I've had my eye on this game. Overall, you pretty much hit puzzle, but you mist a good opportunity with some horror aspects. Amazingly fun game, I never played the original as I saw a video on it and I didn't think it was worth playing through it since I'd seen everything. But when I saw the directors cut was being released I had to try it out.
I beat the game a few days ago, but only today I opened the game again to look for the true ending, I found it. It was much more hidden and harder to get than I expected.
