I have been doing a lot of stuff, and haven't been able to work on it, but the next thing I do will be the mechanics.
Just an idea with VERY simple test builds. The game plan is of a stickfigure going across a whiteboard that you can write on. You have to solve puzzles and defeat enemies/bosses. You will be able to draw a weapon to fight with, and you can customize your hat/marker colo(u)r
