OneWrongDecision

I encountered some strange things. it tells me to press E to get keys but the keys never get taken and the instruction never goes away, I'm also told to open doors but I see no doors. The keypad does not appear when I click on it so I couldn't enter anything and after that I couldn't access it ever again and there was a set of stairs I went down but went into a room which had a strange white/blue screen that seemed to replicate across my window and blind me and I couldn't leave because it was covering my screen. The game didn't end and nothing else happened. Did I do something really wrong?
