Looks beautiful and I look forward to playing it! Working with a 32 bit temporary machine for a good while, need a 64 bit machine to play.
Tetris = good
Platformer games = good
A mixture of these things = super good!
If I could count up all of the hours I spent playing Tetris when I was a kid... it'd be a crap-tonne of hours, honestly.
I I also counted up all of the hours I spent playing various Mario and Sonic games when I was a kid, it'd be a crap-tonne more.
So when you smush Tetris, lateral-thinking and platformers together you get something that I could happily play for umpteen hours. And honestly, I sat playing this for a good half an hour without even really noticing I'd been playing that long. And that's the sign of a great game!
The premise is so simple and yet so clever at the same time. You have a door on the right of the screen, always set at a random height, and you have to build yourself a way of getting to that platform using shapes from our favourite block-dropping classic (including making lines and disappearing them, along with blocks with coins and blocks with bad guys).
After a while I have to admit it gets to a point where you can quite easily start figuring the routes out, but the randomness of the blocks do still keep things interesting. This is definitely worth a shot if you loved Tetris and also love giving that brain a bit of a workout!

Basically Tetris but with a twist!
Opus combines the gameplay of the world famous Tetris with jump and run elements to create a competly new roguelike experience.
Trapped in a deep, dark pit your only chance to escape is to build your way up. Try to place the blocks to create a way to the door and reach the next level. Collect Coins and spend them carefully to restart levels and avoid coin hungry monsters that might block your way.
But you are not the only one struggeling to leave the pit! Two additional characters can be unlocked, each one equipped with a special perk to help you reach new highs and new high scores!
