Simple Survivor is a small arena-based survival game where the goal is simple enough: stay alive, grab what you can, and keep moving when the screen starts filling up with funny little shapes.
You start each run with very little wiggle room to make mistakes. Enemies close in, pickups can lure you into risky spots, but every level up gives you a chance to push your luck just a bit further. Some runs turn into running simply for survival or prolonging the inevitable. Some suddenly click right away and you make it further than you ever have before.Â
The game uses geometrically shaped enemies and bright effects so you can read what is happening even when the arena gets crowded. Between each run there are permanent upgrades that can be acquired with shards to help you get further and further in future attempts.
Bosses break up the flow and force you to prove your build can handle more than the regular swarm, with each one being stronger than the one that came before it. Quests give each run something to chase, even when things fall apart earlier than planned at least you can try to profit for the next go.
