Hey everyone!
so as you may know this was a game made in less than 24 hours in one sitting, now as I'd enjoy keeping the game how it was made I will be doing a 2.0 Update here sometime this week, Ill list what will be in this update but you played the game and liked it or found any bugs or want something to be added in the game let me know!
V.2.0 Update
Main Menu update (less basic unity assets) - this will also include a settings menu for volume control and other settings.
Adding a pause menu to the game
adding some randomness into the game. i.e. Random monster spawn locations, Random research spawn points, Random objects around the map to add a little more to the game.
other then that I think that's all I have time for this week. as this is a side project and i got a full time job so Updates could take some time lol
Site Below: Containment Failure
A short first-person horror experience set in an underground research bunker.
Collect what you can, avoid what escaped, and get out.
You play as a late-shift researcher, A monster escaped. containment, and is using the bunkers vents to get around. Your goal is simple: explore the bunker, collect the remaining research, in the bunker avoid the entity, and escape.
This is a small horror game created in under 24 hours as a personal challenge to finish a project.
V-1.0
This version was created within a 24-hour window.
Expect rough edges, minor bugs, and no Settings Menu
I plan to make a v2.0 at some point that will fix many of the bugs and add more features, if there’s interest in this project. I originally planned to add more monsters and even a second floor to the bunker, but I ran out of time. I also didn’t have enough time to create a main menu — I had roughly 30 minutes left for bug fixes near the end.
AI Disclosure-
I did use AI to help debug some of the code and fix the errors to make it playable, without it I probably couldn't of finished it, all 3D models and level was made by me in blender, and the monster animation was sourced from Mixamo.
Everything else was done in Unity.
Estimated Playtime: 10–20 minutes
This project was made after a long break from not finishing projects
It’s short and imperfect, but it’s finished — and that matters to me.
Thank you for playing.
