Hey everyone,

Iโ€™m a solo developer working on an indie co-op tower defense game set in medieval Bohemia during the Hussite era, mixing Slavic folklore, faith, and survival. Every match feels alive and unpredictable.

You can play solo, co-op vs AI, or in 2v2 battles โ€” each team managing its own base, serfs, and defense.

โš™๏ธ Core gameplay

Waves of Slavic creatures (rusalka, leshy, strzyga, etc.) attack in randomized patterns each round.

When a round starts, all built units come to life โ€“ most of them move and fight dynamically, not just stand as static towers.

Aura & spell system: units can grant bonuses (attack speed, range, movement) or cast spells like summon allies or heal.

Captain units unlock nearby formations of cheaper, stronger units โ€“ but only in limited numbers.

Units can be upgraded multiple times, and players can choose between different upgrade paths to specialize their army โ€” for example focusing on stronger attacks, faster movement, or support abilities.

Garrison & siege mechanics: build fortifications like Hussite-style wagons, where you can place crossbowmen or halberdiers. If the wagon is destroyed, the soldiers emerge and keep fighting on foot.

Every unit also has a different physical size and occupies a specific number of tiles โ€” a Hussite wagon isnโ€™t the same size as a foot soldier, which adds another layer of tactical building and placement.

You can fortify your camp with defensive structures โ€” walls, gates, and guard posts โ€” to shape enemy paths and strengthen key positions.

Manage serfs, sending them into zones with different wealth and danger levels:

๐ŸŒพ Field: moderate risk, steady income

โš”๏ธ Battlefield: great wealth, but high chance of death

If your defense line falls, you can trigger an alarm โ€” serfs can retreat to safety or form a militia to defend your camp.

Faith represents both your people's morale and taxation strength.

When a monster breaches your defenses and reaches the church, it burns in holy fire โ€” but this reduces your faith, lowering your tax amount and weakening the next rounds.

Faith can later be restored through prayers and rituals, reinforcing your economy and blessings.

Launch sabotages on enemy teams โ€” send extra waves, curse their weather, and more.

๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ Dynamic world

Every match generates random build obstacles, forcing new strategies.

Full day/night cycle, season changes, and weather (fog, rain, snow) that influence gameplay and visibility.

The world mixes Slavic myths with a grounded medieval tone โ€” dark forests, rituals, faith, and survival under constant threat.

Your goal is to defend your faith and keep your people alive through endless waves of folklore creatures โ€” balancing economy, risk, and belief each round.

Graphics are still placeholder, but the core systems are already functional.
