What do you think?

It's a delightful little adventure game. The whole thing is short, but very sweet. It's series of puzzles to tell an interesting narrative story is elegantly simple, but once you figure out how to get started, you will love it.

Very well done game, with a nice ambiance and a cool concept of navigating between dreams. It's too bad I got stuck, I think I was almost at the end. Check out my Let's Play!

Can't get enough of your background art, it's really at the peak of the ega style. The environment effects like the dripping water, and the lava are just exceptional, I stared at the lava for ages, did you hand animate that? I couldn't work it out. It was fun trying the new tech, although I can't go past the parser, love it to bits, and it's rare I get to use one. For me tone/puzzles/story were stronger in void quest (basically perfect for me, so hard to follow up), but the dark ending in this struck a great WTF chord ;)

As an old-school Sierra fan, I loved every single second of that. Brilliantly done! :)

I also included this game in an article of my favorites!

Up high in the mountains, you wake up from your summer hibernation, only to find things are not quite as you expected...
In Snowspirit, the line between dream and reality is blurred as you try to restore order to the natural world.

IF YOU NEED ANY HINTS, scroll to the bottom of the description.

From creator of Void Quest, Snail Trek, and the upcoming Cascadia Quest, Snowspirit features both a classic Sierra-style text parser interface, and a LucasArts-style point and click verb interface. You can choose between either when starting the game (and switch between them at any point).

Speech
If you're using Windows 10, the Windows build supports voice input! Enable this in the controls menu under "Speech Input". You need to have a microphone that you've set up for Cortana, and you need to have the dictation policy enabled for "online" recognition (this should be already be the case if you're using Cortana for web searches).
Keep in mind this is very experimental, and the game may not be completable solely with speech input. My suggested game settings for speech input are:

  • Text Parser mode

  • Online for the speech input

  • Use an Xbox controller to move your character (thus freeing yourself from the keyboard entirely)

General tips
Be observant of the environment, inspect all your inventory items for clues, and (when using the text parser mode), make sure to 'look around'. There are clues everywhere, nearly everything is important - there are very few things that are just decoration.

Hints
Ok, so the game might be pretty difficult. If you need some hints, check this page out:
