SONIC POLARIS is a Sonic The Hedgehog 2D space-themed fan game in development. imagining the real-life solar system in the Sonic universe, heavily inspired by the sci-fi genre, including franchises and various forms of media, aiming to deliver new, unseen, and different landscapes from the ones usually seen in official media.
Set in an alternate universe, the game takes place shortly after Shadow’s awakening during Sonic Adventure 2, as a new foe interferes in the battle between Sonic and Shadow, sending both hedgehogs into deep space, bringing the two into a space race to bring the Chaos Emeralds back to planet earth.
