This game is not that bad, but there are a bunch of problems that I would like to see addressed. I've only played the first two nights as I'm writing this comment.
The environment is extremely dark, not only in the gameplay, but also the main menu. I know people like to make the environment look as dark as they can to add a layer of atmosphere to them and make them look "scary", but all you're doing is hiding all the time and effort that you've spent on modeling everything in the game, and the result is something that doesn't look very interesting either.
The cutscenes are also unnecessarily long. They take too much time rambling about narrative stuff before they finally start talking about the gameplay itself and how you are supposed to deal with the enemies. I highly suggest keeping instructions and narrative dialogue to be separate in your games. Practicality has to be top priority.
The gameplay is, well... it's really slow-paced I have to say. While I like the fact that you have a different objective every night, you're pretty much just waiting most of the time - in the first night, you keep waiting for the next package to arrive, and in the second night, you keep holding down the left mouse button and waiting for the progress bar to be completed. You could easily make the game a lot more fast-paced, because it does feel like the nights take way longer than they should.
I'm not a fan of the mechanic for the second enemy, where you're supposed to find their two eyes. In my first attempt, I didn't know where the eyes are, or how they even look like, the game had given me no hints. In my second attempt, I figured out what the eyes look like solely by guessing and randomly clicking everything. It's an annoying mechanic, especially because of how the office scrolling makes it very hard to click on the eyes. They're also buggy at times, as I once died because clicking on one of the eyes did nothing whatsoever.
Final thing is that the game is also pretty quiet. Could spice things up and elevate the overall experience with a bunch of extra sound effects so that the game isn't dead silent all the time, and for a bit of extra atmosphere.
None of the things that I have mentioned above are hard to address, and I'm writing this comment because while playing the game, I really felt like that you're putting the effort in trying to make a game that is actually enjoyable to play, so I thought I could help you reach that goal by telling you what to work on, for either this game or your future ones. Overall, I like what I see here.
I enjoyed the time I spent with the game and the history behind it is interesting. Tho the game isn't perfect with how the boxes sometimes refuse to give me the color I need or sometimes Drilo shows up more then anyone else more often then not, but despite that the game feels good to play and I appreciate the amount of effort you went into the game. I will be looking forward to the remaster of 1 and 2 and thank you for making the game :) Have a nice day/night.
Hi! I just updated the version of the game correcting the crash bug when completing night 5. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
The game bugged when I beat night 5 and now I have to do it again to get the extras and other stuff. Please fix this, thank you.
Since this is the third game for the series should I play the other two or no?
