This my first ever game! I created this game when I was 4 months in college without any previous experience in game development. I didn't know how it was going to turn up and I did as part of a game jam submission. I wanted to test myself to see if I could finish a game in under 7 days. I somehow managed it. This project is always going to be close to my heart I think which is why I have decided to continue to work on it.
It is a 2d platformer that I participated in on my other account on my first game jam GJL Parad2020. It was never about winning for me the game jam but it was always about the hope that I would finish a game in 7 days. I did that and now I look forward to working on my little project and make it better and bigger.
Follow the story of Adrian a boy, in ancient Greece, who is adventuring into the underworld, Hades's Kingdom, times to try and rescue his mom from eternal damnation.
Adrian doesn't have any abilities in this 2D platformer, instead, he has to make sure enemies dont catch him as anything that touches him that lives in the underworld can result in him being stuck there forever.
My original objective was to have a journey from the top of the mountain all the way down to the deepest of Hades's world then sail down the river Styx in order to save his mom. However, having little to no experience in game dev at the time that was not possible for me to create. I am learning more every day so I am now back into it and will add more with each build to make the game better and to have more content added to it.
Controls:
WASD or arrows- to move
Space - jump
Left Click Mouse Button-interact with chat
Right-Click Mouse Button- interact with transition opening.
Hope you enjoyed it and I appreciate any constructive feedback as I continuously work on my game and try and make it better. The majority of my Trello page at the moment is to get my game to work better improve the aesthetics and add more animations and some small amount of content while I work on other things.
