If they told me to describe in one word what I feel when playing The Zalgo Curse, that would be “Tension”. It is a game that certainly keeps you glued to your computer screen, restlees. I don’t know if it’s his music, his gameplay, or his desing that seems to be taken from the head of some emo… maybe a mixture of the three things in harmony.
Get ready to play the role of a tortured soul. You will have to wander through randomly generated dungeons, looking for the stairs to reach the next floor. Fighting or escaping from monster that, depending on how you play and your experience, can be beneficial to you or mean the “Game Over”.
Sometimes you will feel that you have the situation under control, and sometimes you will run out of light and that feeling of despair of no knowing what is behind the door will address you. Then when you least expect it… Zalgo will catch you…
That’s The Zalgo Curse.
