In the aftermath, Humans emerged victorious, imprisoning Monsterkind with a powerful enchantment, one that could only be broken by the pure souls of seven humans.

In 16XX, a fifteen-year-old named Nate found himself on Mount Ebott, facing a dire choice: ascend the mountain or face execution by the military for being labeled a "Wizard." This accusation was false; the ability was inherent to all, but Nate's soul was uniquely intertwined with a dormant monster, reawakening an ancient power that had lain unused for centuries.
