Overview
Voidbound Enigma is a game about four heroes that venture out on a quest to stop three collaborating entities from destroying micro-verses hidden inside of the Earth's core.
Watch as four characters stories intertwine!
Play as Penn Thompson, a man who's life was ruined by a catastrophic event from his past that ended his family, and stole the happiness from his life along with it. Follow him as he tries to understand what the event was, and regain his sense of happiness along the way.
Then, step into life of the journalist/vigilante, Derrick Okita. Like Penn, Derrick's life was also ruined by the same event...but he doesn't care. Unlike Penn though, Derrick's family never cared about him...but again, Derrick doesn't care. He's an apathetic, laid-back guy who lives on his own terms. Watch as Derrick tries to expose a dark secret, and learn to care about about his surroundings, before they come crumbling down on top of him.
Afterwards, take on the role of a young, hard-boiled thief named Lynn Fafard who's being forced to collect money from the innocent by a gang she mistakenly joined trying to rebel against the happy people in her village. Join her as she untangles herself from gang life, and gets revenge on the people responsible for confining her in it.
Finally, you'll play as the corrupt police officer Charlie Sainsbury. Originally joining the force with the intent of protecting the public, she's later forced into protecting and covering for the wrong people, then criminalizing and silencing the virtuous. Follow Charlie as she tries to remember the true purpose of her job, and turn her back on the swindlers corrupting her.

Experience good 'ol TRPG combat with a variety of unique moves, enemies, and music.
Pedestrians With...Odd "Humor"
Talk to as many people you can! The things some of the people say are quite odd to say the least. Some folks may even have tips to give you to help you progress on you quest.
Check your surroundings!
You'll be able to inspect and check many things in this game! Make sure to spend a little extra time checking objects because you'll never know what you may find...
Distractions!
There will be plenty of side content to distract you from doing the thing you were supposed to do...whatever that is...
Solves puzzles!
Make sure to have your thinking cap on, and something to write notes down on because there are puzzles you'll have to solve to make your way to the end of some areas!

Notes
Some of the Music in this game will not be mine, and I will provide links for the originals in the description after I release the first demo. If i'm asked to take any music down I will.
Some of the assets i'm going to be using aren't mine either, so i'll be sure to credit who I can for those when the time comes.
I have no idea when this game will be finished.

Fourthly, I'm going to release the first demo of the game soon. If I keep working, it should be out mid to late June, and it'll be the first chapter of the game. Also I made a little 30 second video to apologize for being gone for solong

Thirdly, The game is going to progress in chapters, and i'm not sure how many chapters i'm going to have yet, but there'll be a good amount, although i'm not sure if the game is going to still be 5 hours or not. It might be even more!

It's been a hot minute...again. I've been pretty busy with school, so I haven't been working on my game at all. But i'm back again with another update! First off, I finished another big area of the game today, which was pretty cool-
UPDATE #2 It's been a hot minute, so idk if anyone's still there, but I made an intro cutscene and finished the first room of the game! I still have a lot to do so stay tuned!
