I am making my final major ITM assessment task, this is it. The game of them all that my other recent years has been building up to.

The game itself is going to be a simple 2D side-scroller platformer, with a cutesy character and basic combat for a compelling story of an outcast of a medieval society. #platformer #adventure #puzzle #shooter #sidescroller

I have had to restart so many things, the enemy ai twice, player 3 times, and so much more scripting as well as animations for goblin and player many times. It's getting very draining and close to the date, sorting all scripts now.

Issue - The enemy is becoming more and more difficult to code with each thing I add contradicting the other, his patrol ai is contradicting with his stunned ai so I may have to start from scratch.

Some things to remember - The play is not entirely mine, I drew him, but the code is a jumble mix and match of videos where I combined each to the point that it's become my own code, as well as fixing age errors with them.

Back to school and working on Character again as well as scene transitions still. It's easy to understand sometimes but there can be some problems that just, don't reveal themselves.

Made a Pine tree for the Main menu screen. Starting the main menu and cinematic from the sketches. I am taking way to long with all this and I have a Fire animated somewhere.

Started market place scene and castle entrance where people will say hello to you.

Bow is now correctly shooting and now deals damage to the small goblins. There is gravity but it does not work with the sprite atm. Apart from that it seems to work well.

Utilising a bow placeholder and arrow placeholder, I have a bow that points to mouse position and shoots arrows. There is a problem with the arrows and direction. Will maybe fix tonight.

Grass on forest entrance scene was very blurry, learned that the max size and quality was not high enough.
