I honestly feel this game has potential but lacks a lot. I'll just list the things that I feel need to be improved.
Controls- They are hard to get used to and often times I end up with the camera in the wierd places. It is hard to describe but it feels like I'm trying to guide a child learning how to walk.
Graphics- The 3D graphics are decent though I found that I could go/over through objects like chairs after I bumped into them. Some of the characters repeat themselves so I found it hard to remember who was who. Also the 2D graphics look like they came from a doll game where you pick the outfits. Making it even harder to remember who had what traits.I feel the game is a little too randomized in that regard when the point of the game is matchmaking. How I am supposed to match make when three of the characters look almost exactly alike?
Gameplay- Repeating points from before I found this game to be very hard since I couldn't remember who's who since they look so much alike. I understood everything else after I read the manual. The fact I kept running around in circles looking for a certain character I thought was the match only to find they're a slightly different looking different named character annoyed me to no end. I played for at least 30 minutes before just randomly matching characters in annoyance. And it does not help that so much of the dialogue is so much alike.
May I suggest a in game notepad or working on one character to match at a time?
Overall I feel this game needs a lot of improvement though it has potential.
I hope wasn't too harsh and this helps the developer
Heard about it at the presentation today and just had to play it.
It is a bit groggy (I wouldn't judge anyones gender on appeareances, but the fact that 7 out of 10 male characters are like "I'm a tough woman" was somewhat hilarious to me) and it is pretty difficult at times to judge if people fit, since some questions never appear and others endlessly repeat (I mean, I would always like to know their sexuality for a starter, but it sometimes just never appears).
But all in all, this game was really fun, interesting and if you ever straight out some of the flaws, I am all up for it!
(And yeah, the thing with bisexuals being "only worth half" is kinda sad, isn't it possible to have them judge the others gender always with full points rather then the middle?)
We just gave a run at it. While we are not the best matchmakers and are a bit PG13, we did have an awesome time playing your game. If you would like to check out our highlights: http://youtu.be/79xeImYLZ7Y
Going to give this a go, i'll most likely make a video for it aswell! x
You're a Las Vegas wedding priest (Elvis or Priest) playing cupid at a matchmaking event. Analyze lonely hearts in humorous dialogues, influence them with romantic items and find their big love -or the failed one-night-stand! With a personality system based on 8 personality parameters, you can get to know randomized singles through speed dating questions. Decide who marries whom: The more parameters align in a couple, the higher the compatibility & score. Parameter-influencing items can be found in the Casino & given to the singles, with a maximum of two per person. The better the couple, the more points you get -the sum of three pairs is the final score.
