PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD, especially since this is not an original project and we know what Nintendo are like. I cannot give you permission. Thankies.
The GB demake of a DS game released in 2005.
Which has also had an official Switch remake by Nintendo in early 2024, IT IS OUT NOW. I can confirm the whole thing is well worth the 50 quid. Well done, Nintendo.
I have seen no Promotional advertising for it so I'm doing it for them.
Anyway, good timing XD
Originally released on Itchio on 25th December 2023, updated over the next few months.

I am aware the inventory is buggy. The Candles minigame in the second hallway may be buggy. There should be several save points between picking up the matches and going to the candles to allow you to skip redoing the entire hallway upon refreshing the page, bringing you to the study or in the hallway depending if you attempted the puzzle.
Otherwise the game runs, to my knowledge, perfectly start to end. Let me know otherwise. Enjoy. I have added a credits roll at the end.
This is my sub-sub (under Aeons 3 (now available!) and other games hinted at) summer-winter project demake, and it's now finished!
You can see the screenshots in their original finished form that I couldn't keep/had to make 'less detailed' due to tile counting.
The full game, with a slightly altered script to take out the PAL script fluffing and repetition, is here! Also due to graphical limits, I've had to be clever with some rooms, and yes the conversation scenes are a bit clunky eye-wise. But it has working puzzles! Even if I had to tweak them for GB-programming! This was a great set of learning processes!
I've loved this DS game for the 20-ish years I've played it and this round is particularly connecting given the events of the past year of 2022-2023.
I'm tempted to do the sequel, which is an even bigger demake since it was on the Wii. This will take a while given I can't just screenshot the Wii game like I did with the DS game given the camera position, and I took out the in-game camera feature of the main device of the previous game so I need to figure out how to add it into this next one.
Given this one took me 7 months and it's a SHORT game...! (Though it was mostly the screenshots that ate up the time.)
I'm really wanting to know what program they used to make this game, because clearly they have an explorable top down view and first person, which I've only seen on a house-building website I used for fun and a screenshot for one of my audioplays. I wonder if anyone can answer that?
