This short experimental piece is a quick response to an iconic movie clip from Serenity (Joss Whedon, 2005 ), "Origin of the Reavers".  I think the video sets up a particular mood. In addition, I tuned into how I was feeling about technology - AI, in particular, and the environment, when I decided to publish it in summer 2023, as we experienced wildfires all over Canada. The choice of monologue and the whole response is aimed to inspire cultural analysis and spark conversation about wider themes of neo-liberalism, dystopia, technology, power, culture, politics, representation, and maybe identity. In March 2024, I decided to update this blurb realizing there won't be a v.2 and that no matter how imperfect or incomplete, this is it for anarcho.
