I got to say that your game have some potential. But based on the feedback my only suggestion is the controller and the presentation of the main menu of the game that needs of change. For controller change the movement to the arrow keys, for shield used the “S” key, to shoot used the space bar and dash for the “X” key. Also included the pause by using the “P” key. For the main menu you wanted a clean and crowed words on the menu where you want the player to focus the middle of screen to choose four or five buttons. Add in for example the start game, option, tutorial, hi score and quit buttons. Or if you want you can add continue game, new game and load game with one or two buttons within the main menu. I hope these suggestions would help your game.
Participate in an endless war started over reasons unknown. Fly around endless space as one of the three remaining Battle Units, or switch sides for a bit and design your own foes in the (currently basic and clunky) enemy ship editor.
Each character has their own attributes, weapons and stats. The focus of the combat system is to deploy a well-timed shield, that’ll deflect projectiles back where they came from.After enough deflections, your meter will charge, allowing you to overclock your Battle Unit for a short period of time and wreak havoc, as time is slowed down and your battle abilities are boosted.
