What do you think?

the game was. . . onfusing. . . I made a lets play of it. . . to good effect i think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPScfqGUp0E&feature=youtu.be

CREEPY GAME.

Please listen. I can see that you can take critism so that's good.

This is not a good "game". I have played stuff that is far worse than this, but it's really not good.

At the start I was impressed with the sound design, but the wasteland was so boring. The draw distance was absolutely disgraceful.
About twenty seconds later I realised that this was going to go on for the rest of the game.
The horses appeared and I couldn't take this serious anymore. They were floating slowly towards me in a circle.
Then the pixelated eye appeared and the game closed.

One major problem is that this is an interactive movie rather than a video game. You can win it by doing nothing. This site is called GAME Jolt, not INTERACTIVE MOVIE Jolt. While I believe that choose your own adventure games are okay for this site, I really don't think that this should be here.
I can't take this "game" seriously because of the too poor quality and questionable design choices.

Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass now. The thing is that I have made games with that exact engine. I know that making videogames is hard, but please put some effort in.

Sorry if I'm being too harsh, but this is what I think. Hope this helps.

This is... Interesting to say the least. There's not much gameplay to speak of. In fact, I'm suprised that this took you 4-5 weeks to make.

For those who would like to understand why I'm sounding like a massive jerk, please let me explain.

This game starts off interestingly with the player moving on a constant pace straight forward on what would seem to be an endless tract of cracked wasteland. I had first assumed that it was an intro, because the game itself has absolutely no screenshots or footage. My suspicions were wrong, and it turned out that this is literally how the whole game is presented. Anyhow, the only thing you can do is look left or right. There's not much to see in this barren stretch of land. Trees withered with neglect dot the environment, some having mastered the power of levatation. Eventually, you begin to see something... Peculiar. At first, I assumed that it was a pack of horses running with me in this strange lost land. However, it began to occur to me that they were all actually facing me, making a slow progression towards me. One issue with this is that the horses sort of... Float towards you. I'm not going to judge this as it just seems like padding introduced to make the game longer than it should be. They eventually get so close that they form a mass of writhing legs. Suddenly, out of nowhere, pixel art of an eye approaches the screen and it just ends abruptly without any outro or explanation. Just pixel art of an eye expanding onto the screen. It's not even creepy, as the eye is staring off into a completely different direction.

Seriously. That is literally the whole explanation for the game. In a typical short game, it may take 2 - 3 pages to describe it fully. However, in this game's case it literally took only 1 paragraph. If I were a bigger jerk, I would compress it down to 3 sentences.

What I'm trying to say is that in the next part you have planned, you need to expand on the concept much more. I would like to see something much more engaging and intriguing than horses moving slowly towards you with almost no noise.

I've decided not to rate it because there's nothing to rate. If it had actual substance, I would give it a rating because then it would be fair. Giving a game without any gameplay a rating is like going to a restaurant and rating the taste of the air.

I'm not going to judge you for your decisions. I only want you to improve, as I want for all budding developers. If this is your form of experimentation, I see no reason for this critique to exist.

Roughly 2 minutes long. Will exit abruptly at the end.

I spent very small amounts of time over the course of about 4 or 5 weeks building this. Which is quite different from how I normally make stuff.

There was supposed to be another part to it which I haven't got around to finishing off but I have all the assets lined up for. Something to give a bit more closure than way it currently comes to an unexpected halt. Whether I will ever get around to doing that though is another question.

All the assets were found for free on the unity asset store except the sky which came as part of the AllSky pack of 140 skyboxes for 10 bucks . The drone is a track my friend made a while ago and the running man audio is from youtube.
