A tale as old as time.
A prophecy foretold and repeated.
An empty underground.
Soon, we dive into it once more.
...but will it be for the last time?
Anyways, I'm excited for this project!
Close enough, Welcome back Undertale: Determination. (jk)
That's it? This is just No More Deals! /j
(In all seriousness this looks genuinely good! I'm excited to see how this turns out!)
please speed i need thissssss
Sharfa cooking with the art as always 💪
Love the thumbnail and banner art!
As you approach the exit of the Underground, you leave behind a trail of dozens defeated monsters. The havoc you brought upon the kingdom resurrects a powerful demon of the past. You are met with an ultimatum to move on to the next world or be erased with the present one.
Instead of sealing the deal with the demon, you decide to challenge the dangerous foe like many others.
"Arkangel" is a take on Undertale's genocide ending that introduces a new final encounter against Chara; the second Dremmur sibling. Arkangel expands upon Chara's backstory to create a unique reinterpretation of the underground's cursed spirit.
Arkangel is NOT a sequel or continuation of No More Deals.
Take on the challenge that comes with:
2 battle routes, each with a twist;
A new abandonned site to explore;
Expanded story of the beloved character;
Some secrets to be found.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Will the game be released at all?
Althought I'm pretty sure, I don't want to overpromise. With me being the leader of the project, I will do the best I can to finish it. My only concern is the amount of free time the university will leave me.
What happened to Wonderful Idea?
After everything the project went through, the team lost interest for the game.
There are not enough assets to finish the game;
The codebase became very tedious to maintain;
The latest Clickteam update breaks some of the game's logic [post].
Working on WI is not fun as of now. Finishing the game with brand new assets would be a horrible experience, especially with how I organized animations back then.
We are thinking of releasing the game as is. Although the final attacks and endings are not finished, it's more than playable. We don't know exactly when we come back to this idea.
Will Arkangel support any other platform besides Windows?
It might! I will definitely support Windows and Linux. I've got mobile controls to work, so there's also Android. Be wary though that I haven't exported games to Android before. Even if all goes well: I can't promise enjoyable experience, since I'm balancing around PC controls.
Will there be a Hard mode?
I don't have any plans for hard mode. As disappointing as that sounds, writing well 30+ attacks is not appealing, regardless whether they are brand new or stat tweaks.
