What do you think?

just played through the game and i have that it's amazing!) a fun puzzle game that tests both your logical thinking and reactions, reminiscent of good old flash games (and also directly inspired by Snail Bob) while also having a balls-to-the-walls difficulty that gradully ramps up while playing!)

the game has nice vector graphics that are easy on the eyes and some great puzzles that get more and more difficult and logistical the deeper you get into the game - the unique aspect of the gameplay with the main character being an uncotrollable blob plays a huge part in solving all of the different riddles. the maps themselves along with the puzzles are pretty easy to navigate, too - all of the different ramps, lifts and bumps the slime comes across are easy to identify through intuition and logic!)

but, alas, the game's difficulty can come off as downright unfair - especially starting from the fourth level, where you need to make a split-second decision to not lose all of your progress! that's the thing that i both hate and love about Automation - it's hard. I Wanna Be The Boshy level hard. most of the difficulty stems from the lack of saves and level selection, which makes the player go back to the first level if you are to fail, and you'll probably fail a lot, especially starting on the fourth (although the third level IS a bit tricky it's still fairly simple) level and going on until the end. i think that making a simple menu where the players could choose a level would be great, especially if you could unlock the levels as you progress and not just hop in and go straight to the dragon gem, jajaja!)

all in all, this game was both frustrating and enjoyable - the puzzles were well done and the difficulty imposed a great deal of challenge, too, and i'm always up for something challenging!) 10xyz, you did an amazing job, as always, and i loved seeing the different riddles and puzzles that you could come up with that centered around the uncontrollable aspect of the main character!) as always, i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration in all of your future endeavors, be it game development or something else!) take care!
