I really like it. Once the mom started coming around it got A LOT more harder, I also noticed the kids "happiness" meter decreased very quickly.
I could see this having trophies like "stay awake for 5 minutes" or "stay on the same level of the mom without getting caught" Really fun!
if you ever plan to expand Id say add a little more. I thought the powerups were cool but more would be better. Its very simple but repetitive, Switch up the level abit, add a sup floor. Maybe add a dad so a bigger level is possible.

I know this feel, the concept is phenomenal and the artwork pretty simple yet so much adorable. The idea of making a game that would run on a gameboy about playing with gameboy is genious ;)

Back Light was made for the Game Boy Jam in about 4 days. In Back Light you play a kid up way past their bed time. You just want to play your game boy but this is before hand held gaming had back lights. So to increase you happy meter and score stand under a lit lamp. Make sure to keep your happy meter up and avoid your Mom to try and get the highest score!
