List of content:
Demo 0 (Public Bugfix)
A patched early demo from the game's original development stages.
Contains a hub world, a tutorial stage, and a boss stage.
You'll spawn in the boss stage, and to exit it you must defeat Pepperman to get to the hub world and play the tutorial.
Kill all enemies and destroy all objects for the best score!
New Demo Debug Build
A test build of Demo 0 from later on in development.
Contains the hub world and an updated version of the tutorial stage.
There are tons of added enemies and a box object that was supposed to contain a gun. Triggering the escape sequence causes the blue enemies to attempt to escape the stage with you, so don't hurt them if you don't want to. Some objects are in different places for testing purposes.
This build also contains original tutorial music, an idle animation and new escape effects like screen tilting, a warping sky that flashes red, and everything turning grayscale when the time runs out. The tutorial music is bugged from now on.
Modified Final Development Build
The original release of this build was broken as you couldn't access the tutorial, however MelonLoader has been bundled with the build so you can use the console to access each of the levels.
The tutorial contains a few new things like new collectibles and escape blur, and Peppa has proper animations for doing things now with a proper Mach 4 state. The box object still doesn't give you the shotgun but the console can. The boss is broken and can't even be spawned.
You can also face an early version of what would've been the final boss. To defeat Queen Elizabeth, grab an enemy and jump underneath her with it to hopefully do damage.
Special Build
A joke build of the scrapped April Fool's verison of the game, which would've been a 2D platformer based more on fast paced gameplay with bits of exploration.
It contains a very simple test course. Wait at the start for The Noiseâ„¢ to show up and trigger the escape sequence. You can try to escape from BEAR 5, but you won't.
Goody Pack
Various files from development like concept art and text. Also contains multiple old soundtracks from throughout development.
Controls:
For the 3D builds...
WASD - General movement.
Spacebar - For jumping!
Left click - Activates the grab dash. If an enemy is in the way, it'll get picked up. Click again to kill it.
Holding onto an enemy for too long may cause the game to break, so let go of the enemy as soon as possible.
When the shotgun is equipped in the Final Dev Build, the grab is replaced with shooting a massive radius, destroying all nearby enemies.
Right click - Hold to move camera with mouse.
Scroll wheel - Zooms the camera in and out.
Shift - Makes you run. If you're going at Mach 3, you can kill enemies by touching them and climb walls. Mach 4 can only be achieved in Final Dev Build.
Ctrl - Allows you to dive while in midair. Good for destroying things below you. You need to be running to use it in Demo 0.
In New Demo Debug Build onwards, you can use the ground pound if you aren't running.
Diving is somewhat unstable in Demo 0.
E - While running, press E to do a super jump. Pressing it too much will send you out of bounds. Do not do this in any level except the tutorial.
F - For interacting with stuff.
C - Taunt button! You don't pose though. Only works on New Demo Debug Build.
For the 2D build...
Arrow keys - Left and right lets you move. Hold down while moving to crawl.
Z - For jumping!
Shift - For running! Holding down while running lets you roll.
