What do you think?

Nice graphics, man =) Can't wait to play it =)

Bear Necessities is a Third Person 3D platformer/arcade game remeniscent of the good ole' PS1-PS2 days. Inspired by games like Envirobear2000 and Spyro, Bear Necessities follows a bear needing to gather food for the winter, if he does not gather a sufficient amount of food per level, winter will arrive and the bear will freeze. You will have a specific amount of time to beat each level, but sometimes the food will not be so easy to reach. The game will get more and more fast-paced as it goes on, and different environments will alter the way you will need to go around beating levels, along with some bonus levels inbetween!

This game features a low-poly style with cartooney graphics. And will feature many levels by the time that it is finished. Currently it is in a pretty stable state but I wish to have at least 20-30 levels finished before I release an alpha demo. It is currently being developed solely by me over the past 6 months (With 2-3 month break in the middle), so development will take some time but will be worth it in the end! The demo stage will only be a preview of what the final game will be like so a lot of features may be removed or added over time.

The controls so far are simply W,A,S and D to move, Left Alt to re-align camera (Although I will likely add a mouse rotation closer to the release if I can), and space to jump.

I am testing this game on older systems to see how well it runs, and I can confirm that due to the low-poly style of the game, it will be relatively easy to run this game on older computers, but I will not release a minimum requirements until I have finished the demo.

So yeah! That's about it everyone! I hope you all will enjoy this game or at least follow its development! Seeya later!
