Theory: After analysing the game page, I have come to the conclusion that The clown HAS to be partially responsible for either past murders or current murders in this game.
He's clearly a human character, he's clearly malicious (certain posts and comments confirm that) and he's a clown, and clowns are never depicted as friendly in anything!
Its clear that this game takes place in the universe of Freddy's, so he probably worked with the purple man at some point.
I'm not saying he's the soul murderer, but he totally has some hand in Purple Guy's work. Maybe he's a killer inspired by the murders at Freddy's? Maybe its a Vanny situation and he's brainwashed? I guess only time will tell...
