Ha ha, after a while I was expecting him to soil himself every time he blasted off.
I wasn't sure what the goal was until I read the description. My high score was 26 then Captain Gastronaut flow out the space ship window, and I couldn't find my way back to the ship.

Control the Captain with the arrow keys, hold the up arrow to charge up your propulsion systems, and release to lift off. Get to the correct control panel before the dangerometer levels reach critical!
We made this using TypeScript, Aseprite and lots of pizza. It was also made in 48 hours!

Ever wondered how some idiots made a game about a farting spaceman? Here's a glimpse into our madness.
Our initial idea was to have Captain Gastronaut control himself via moving his arms up and down in a QWOP-style fashion... I wonder how that would have turned out? Probably a little less smelly!
Did you notice all of Captain Gastronaut's faces? We were inspired by the Doomguy's face, and tried to make him as expressive as possible!
Did you know? "Envarka Enterprises" was a corporation name from one of my unfinished game series, The Corrupt Universe!
