What do you think?

Now that I have 100% the game I can say the game was not bad.

The overall gameplay is pretty good, the ducts would be my fave mechanic since the 2 characters match their speed pretty evenly so you can't just close the duct without thinking which I like. Anty is good as well, I do wish the cameras were just a bit more useful, like having 1 more camera threat since the main gameplay loop is just camping cam 5 so the other cameras are kinda useless.

The mask characters that come from the left and right give a long sound cue to start attacking that getting any exposure from them is really hard, if the sound cue was shorter maybe that could create some tense moments with the exposure meter but currently they are too easy for me personally.

Not having any ambience music during the night is a really weird choice, I never noticed how much it truly adds in fangames but after playing this fangame I do think every fangame needs atmosphere music during the night gameplay as it feels really bland to me personally having 0 audio while doing the night.

Dayshift was one part where not having night ambience made it a miss as gameplay wise it's just a night 6 with 1 new character. As much Dayshift feels like it should be a bit more OOMPH then what it was.

When having dialogue within the bad ending as an example there should be music yet again for the reasons stated before

The story flew over me as I didn't play the 1st game, got a few hints based off the max mode(s) cutscenes on what is happening, but that's about it. So, I can't say too much in that regards.

I do think the 100% process is kinda not the best as the 13 presets you need to do + the random night drag out the game quite badly and the dayshift being considered a different custom night when in reality it doesn't feel any different then the main gameplay is just weird in my opinion, not sure why the dayshift got split when in reality Shadow should've just been added into the main night. I mean in the arcade mode he is right there, so that decision feels odd to me.

What I would recommend is if you have this many presets in future games is to make them have unique gimmicks so that the gameplay isn't "night 6 but again but for 11 times". I would rather have 5 interesting presets, + max mode, then have 10 presets that don't add much to the gameplay loop.

Overall the gameplay is pretty good but doesn't reach it's true potential imo, I wouldn't suggest for people to 100% this game personally, at most do the max modes and call it a day.
I would give it a 6/10 from my personal experience

Why when I scored 100k in arcade mode (aka endless mode) my record just didn't count why when I get jumpscare from any animatronic or just exit this mode and on where it should show that I scored 100k but for some reason only showing 0 even though I'm logged into my account gamejolt in game and trophy is working but only not in arcade mode is it supposed to be like this or what and by the way, how to get the last star with a question mark I've tried everything I hope you can explain how to get this star without spoilers and in general I hope you fix this bug somehow with arcade mode

Just finished the regular night and about to do the max mode.

So i wanted to give out my opinion and suggestions!

Rating & Opinion

Gotta be a 10/10, its really good!

The demo is really, really high quality and it plays pretty smooth, but what do you expect from a Clickteam Developer because most clickteam games are very good and smooth,.

It also has some important settings that were useful to me, and other stuff, but im pretty excited for the full release now that i have played it!

Suggestions

One thing that i realized is that i couldn't skip the dialog for the cutscene at first, since this game MAY have multiple nights, on Night 1, you shouldn't be able to skip the cutscene, but other nights you can.

Also you dont really need to fix this cause some people can manage, but one thing is that i have to scroll back to the middle of the office to use the cams, but when i flick towards it, it either doesn't work or sends me to the opposite side of the office.

But overall, 10/10, EXTREMELY good, will get the full game.

i'm really enjoying the game so far, i especially love the graphics, but phone guy is just way too quiet.. it doesn't help that he is still speaking at like 2 AM on night 3 when the threats are already attacking you multiple times, so you have to rely on dying to understand the mechanics. other than that, lovely game :)

>> Info

Three years have passed since the incident that closed the old Cube’s Pizza Place. The building has been demolished, rebuilt from the ground up, and reopened as the “New & Improved” location: refurbished, refreshed, and eager to welcome guests.

Under a name that isn’t yours, you take a night guard position. Staying unnoticed is part of the job, but the nights don’t stay quiet for long.

The characters are watching. Some are new, still learning, and their sensors are sharp enough to notice things you try to hide. Others are older, unfamiliar with the new building, but not unaware of movement or sound. And while a simple mask can fool some, it won’t fool them all.

The building is new, but the shadows carry old memories. Every flicker of light, every silent corner seems to watch you; and the longer you stay, the more your own conscience reminds you why you’re hiding.

You came looking for safety, hoping to leave the past behind... but some things follow you no matter where you hide.

Cube's Dark Hours 2 Reshined is now available to download.

(CDH2 Reshined) Released v1.0.4b, which just makes "tape" calls substantially louder (about 7db difference). If it's too loud during gameplay, please be sure to let me know.

(CDH2 Reshined) Released v1.0.4a, which simply adds a cooldown in that one minigame.

What I mean by this is that; when the foe is awake and the shock is used, it will now enter a brief cooldown period, preventing immediate reactivation.

(CDH2 Reshined) Released v1.0.4, which fixes a major bug regarding how POINTs are saved in Arcade Mode.

Since CDH2 Reshined has been released for a couple days now, there's no need to keep this behind the scenes any longer.

Here's what the beta testers saw every single time they launched beta builds.
