I loved this game. The only problem I saw with it was the check point in the second level. When I died I die again at the checkpoint because one of those shadowy butterflies were waiting for me at the checkpoint. Besides that, great game.
Cherry Boy
One of my earliest creations in game maker. Cherry Boy is a very simple platformer game with graphics mostly taken from various places on the internet and music from... somewhere.
This is the very beginning of CherryBoy , the game has nothing to do with the DreamCherry cannon other than it inspired it. I thought it was worth maybe posting on here anyway as kind of a historical artifact or something.
Also, sorry for all the Japanese stuff, I was going through a phase and Google translate was my friend! we still chat, catch up over some coffee, that kind of stuff :)
The beginning flashing text just says "press any key"
Controls:
Left and right ------------Move
Up -------------- Jump
no joystick support, sorry..
Collect coins to purchase items like lives and checkpoints (I don't know either.... :) just get to the end of the stages, jump on enemies to defeat them, though there are a few that can not be defeated.
