What do you think?

Playing through the demo rn, and it's really fun :D
I the art and satisfying movement controls are def the best parts. I also really like how the wall jumping is done. If there's one thing I'd maybe recommend changing, the jump orbs that point up kind of look like a capital A rather than an arrow, which made me think I had to click A to interact with them at first. This is super cool, can't wait for the full release

genuinely so underrated

this is like beyond peak

Chicken Island Alpha

Version: 0.3.18 months ago
ALPHA Version of Chicken Island This early version has none of the story elements mentioned in the description included ~~ WARNING ~~ Chicken Island's web version runs much worse than the downloadable one. It is encouraged to play the windows version if possible.

Gamepad is supported; keyboard & mouse are recommended.

Have you ever been to a birthday party? Our journey's protagonist Charlie (also known as 'Charlie Chicken') is going to, however he seems to still be missing a present. That's why Charlie and his (very motivated) friends set out on their journey to get the Island's only, extremly delicous and insanly valueable golden seed. If they suceed, what the old hen has to do with it and how and why Charlie was forced into rescuing all of the island's bread are the questions you're gonna be answering when exploring this Chicken Island. (Warning: Due to being extremly addictive, there may be a chance that you forget going to a birthday party while playing this game)

Chicken Island is a 2d action platformer with an interconnected map, more than 60 unique collectables, much optional content, including platforming and/or combat focussed side quests, and a story about your favourite feathered animal: the chicken!

Where I've been, what I've done and why there won't be any Updates to Chicken Island until the full release (in like, prob febuary to april, no promises).

Idk why, but for some reason I sometimes think Chicken Island looks like an early 2000s game for some reason.

What do you guys think?

Chicken Island is indeed not dead.

Many things changed about the game's development in the last couple of weeks, will share more about the plans in the future.

Made new main menu because the old one sucked.
