@jaap85 your welcome sorry about not posting earlier but had some stress at work so I'm back.
Love the new look of the game the only two problems for me are the refresh and how easy it is to accidentally hit "F"
The refresh thing makes the game look choppy but the game is just smooth and I feel if you can remove that then it would look a lot smoother
(EDIT: the refresh thing is the map showing the new location of the enemy)
and the "F" thing is more of an I took my hand off of my keyboard and then hit "F" instead of "D" and I saw the whole map ruing the FOW so if that was behind a small tab or a button under the history then that would help a lot.
I just wrote a 3 paragraph thing with suggestions on how to Improve the game but missed the add comment button and deleted it all :(
Anyway I think you should add a builder to the game where you can build Buildings at the cost of the builder. for example you can build a farm and a barracks for increased unit cap and a pen/smithy for other soldiers like the horseman and spears.
and maybe resource buildings like a sawmill for wood or mason for stone etc. but I think that a building should always consume the builder as if he is now working there because if one builder is built he can build so many things in a short period of time and that is op so like a 2 day training time for him.
I think that the sawmill should be built in forest the, pen/smithy/farm built on grass and the mason on mountains
Added after the last paragraph I feel that buildings should just add caps to the units themselves for example: 1 smithy= 3 spearmen, one pen= 2 horsemen, one farm= 5 FPT (Food Per Turn) and a unit should always consume a food every turn like they do now, just so that the builder isn't under powered ether.
and boats maybe for more fun maps like if there is a water barrier in the way I have to build a dock then a boat to transfer units or take control of the sea just a thought tho
may be a stretch but maybe wells for the food cap as well (lol see what I did there)

Just started playing the new version, and re-downloaded twice, just one glitch I see, it is that the full screen is broken and shows mostly a red box and not much of the map will reply to this comment with more :)
The only issue with the game as it is is when you get into higher turns the game lags more even if the AI only has 2 cites so if you iron that out it would be a very nice polished game to work with :) other than that great work hope to see more
