Place your bets! The condors will duke it out for your amusement, and the results will be tallied to see what you've won! Each ship has the same combat stats and weapons, and they will enter the track in a randomized order. They'll then race around the track trying to shoot each other down. Every time a condor damages or defeats another condor, it will be granted points based on the success of its actions. The ship with the highest score when combat is no longer possible (at least five condors have fallen) wins!

Score - A condor will receive 1 point for every point of damage it deals, plus another 25 points if that was the last of another condor's health. Condors can also shoot down each other's mines and torpedoes to prevent their opponents from scoring. A condor can still win if they're defeated early as long as they gather enough points to hold out!

Given more time, I would have liked to flesh out the pilots with 3D models and victory animations with a 3D victory scene. I'd also probably give them each their own ship model, though the ships would all still have an equal chance of winning of course.

This is an entry to the #colotterygamejam wherein the point is to place bets on a scenario before watching it play out. The gameplay is entirely luck-based, and you cannot pilot a ship. My registered team name is Boilerplate, which is why some of the project files will use that name.

All bets are $10 for the sake of demonstration, and these are the possible win scenarios:

Jackpot! - You selected the exact winners! Prize is 2500% ($250 for a $10 bet).

Perfect Double - Your first two picks were correct, prize is 220%.

Strong Double - Your first and third picks were correct, prize is 200%.

Triple Scattershot - All three picks were near misses, prize is 190%.

Double - Your second and third picks were correct, prize is 180%.

First Supported Single - Your first pick was correct, the other two were near misses, prize is 130%.

Second Supported Single - Your second pick was correct, the other two were near misses, prize is 117.5%.

Third Supported Single - Your third pick was correct, the other two were near misses, prize is 100% (you win back your money).

First Split Single - Your first pick was correct and you had one near miss, prize is 22.5%.

Second Split Single - Your second pick was correct and you had one near miss, prize is 20%.

Third Split Single - Your third pick was correct and you had one near miss, prize is 17.5%.

Pure Single - Your first pick was correct, prize is 12.5%.

Strong Single - Your second pick was correct, prize is 10%.

Single - Your third pick was correct, prize is 7.5%.

Weak Double - You had two near misses, prize is 5%.

Lost Single - You had one near miss, prize is 2.5%.

If you were to make all possible bets at once, you would spend $4800, then considering the variable rarity of each result, would win $3125 in prizes, which is 65.1% of the cost.

The game is live! I know I had a version up already, but that was just to test out GameJolt. The condors now have pilots you can bet on instead of betting on the plain colors!
