What do you think?

Really unique gameplay with a lot of potential. The level editor is well made and the ability to upload levels and share them is great. It doesn't have a story or any level progression, but the level editor is fun to use. There aren't a whole lot of different items yet but hopefully some more could be added (it would be great to have blocks that the chain couldn't attach to, or maybe blocks that the chain could attach to but the player could go through)

Overall it's a fun game that's put together very nicely, but still lacks some content.

Important Information: development of this version of Chain Playground has been suspended indefinitely.

Chain Playground is a puzzle-platformer where you build your own levels, upload them for others to play, and play levels that other people have made.

You navigate levels using a spike on a chain. You launch this spike at anything in the level and get pulled toward objects you latch onto. You can unlatch the chain during flight to cover longer distances. You can also lock the chain and use it to swing around objects.

So it turns out the Level Builder was broken. That's fixed now. I hope.

Chain Playground Alpha 0.5.0 is here, and it's here to stay. See the article below.

My scatter-brained self forgot to post a Devlog for 0.5.0rc1. In short, the official release of 0.5.0 is rapidly approaching - metaphorically, that is. Here's the changelog:

0.5.0pre12 is released!

Added a settings menu.

Added a Theme selector and a WIP Desert Theme.

The full changelog is below.

0.5.0pre11 is released!

Added icons to a few buttons.

All text in the game now comes from a language file, making translations possible in the future.

Started working on a new feature called Logic Boxes. They work but the feature is not done yet.
