Cube Out is a Minimalist Puzzle Shooter done in Two Months!
Cube Out is a Puzzle Shooter Dungeon Crawler where the Players need to find their way out of maze-like levels. At their disposal, three kinds of projectiles: a Destructor, that opens the path by blowing everything in the way; a Kinetic, that will bounce and repel everything it touches; and a Heavy Weight, that can be materialized into a weight to be used as tool and protection.
Key Features
A Puzzle Box: Cube Out is a Stage-based Puzzle Shooter. Every Stage will present a different challenge to test observation, logic and understanding about how the world works and the tools the Player have at his disposal.
Unusual Effects: Each Projectile of Cube Out functions in a clear way and with clear goals: to destroy; to bump; and to make weight. Now what if we told you that they have a few other perks and side effects that you'll need to discover while progressing through the game?
A Puzzling Shooter: Your Projectiles are not only fancy tools to solve riddles, but also a way to protect yourself. Fight against enemies and other threats that will be much less merciful that a couple of estatic switches and understand all the potential of the tools you have in your hands.
This project is part of the Game Prototyping Classes and the task is to build something cool until early October 2020.
Our personal goal? To create a fun project free for everyone with the help of GameJolt community. Give us feedback, suggestions, opinions and critics to improve it every week through a crash course from early concept phase until Beta Version launching.
We hope to work together with everyone interested. We want to listen to opinions, insights and suggestions that can help us to improve not only our vision about the game, but mostly to be a better product for everyone that wants to play it.

Cube Out is a Minimalistic Game Chameleon. It's meant to be improved, tweaked and adapted to fullfil what players expect from this kind of scope. And we hope to achieve it with your help.
We'll be posting Updates frequently and improving from a simple concept and a couple of geometric forms to a fully functional fun-to-play Puzzle Shooter experience.
