The smoke effects were pretty good and the monochromatic color scheme was a good choice. The physics felt far too static for my taste and the gameplay just didn't grab me.

Great game! Loved the variety of planes. Felt that some of the power-ups were annoying and maybe put there to make the game harder...reminded me of the old games! btw loved "big-papa" and "the sun" :)
Tear up the skies in DeathSky, a top down arena survival airplane shooter wherein your goal is to survive waves after waves of enemy planes while racking up points by collecting air crates. These crates will provide you random arsenal of weapons as inspired by vlambeer’s Super Crate Box mechanics. This is further mixed up by having RPG elements wherein you level up and gain points. You may choose to get stronger or faster or get additional durability for a cost of points earned from leveling up. Its all up to you. Simple, brutal and fun.
The game features a unique mix of noir-esque art and 8-bit pixel art - a tribute to old classics.
