Deltarune: Distant Grief

A short but pretty good game!

Of course, it has a couple of visual and gameplay issues, but it’s well made overall

Visual issues:

Kris’s sprites change palette right in the middle of a cutscene—make them consistent (though the cutscenes are so beautiful they made me cry)

Noelle’s portrait seems to shift slightly to the right it looks a bit odd during dialogue

There aren’t that many attacks, but they’re creative (especially star_rain and star_bomb) though the damage feels pretty unfair like, 67 HP?!?

I can't seem to get Noelle to listen in the first phase.

Just played it

It's really nice and has some banger music but the solo Noelle phase is weird in terms of difficulty, most attacks are very easy and then there is the one where there is a snowglobe in the middle and attacks in a cross pattern which can kill you in one turn (it can get well over the 6 attacks it needs to kill you) and has no telegraph to know which directions the spikes will go

Also, what happened if we get both Noelle and Ralsei? the game just had me move in the limited area, din't get an achievement or found anything to interact with

Also, got a glitch on the noelle solo fight where I always dealt max dmg and always had red soul even after death
