Deltarune: Distant Grief

I was trying to see what endings were there and so i tried doing the evilest most manipulative spare noelle ending i could, doing the requeriments for the "Proceed, kris gets frozen" ending and then killed ralsei instead of clicking proceed, then i noticed that the proceed button was still there in phase 2, naturally, i tried it and Kris got frozen but lived, obviously unintended but i feel like there's potential for a new ending here, like picture a successful proceed route where noelle doesnt freeze you, or maybe she freezes you but you dont die like in the pic and continue spamming proceed, or maybe she only freezes and kills ye if yer got less than 70% mercy on phase 2 and kneels to ya and rejoins da party if you got more than that

9/10, The weapons and armors are too limited, i understand why you aren't allowed to go "BLACK SHARD, JEVILSTAIL, DEALMAKER" on them, but c'mon, at least give me a sword other than bounceblade, what if i wanted to play armorless + Wood Blade?

10/10, a Noelle snowgrave battle where Ralsei shows that he cares about Noelle is nothing I've seen before, yet it is pretty much well implemented. In terms of balancing, my only complain is that the tp acts are way to low and the tp bar while it says that it's frozen it acts the same way as the regular (and that some attacks are obviously randomized between them, but I understand why you did that in a development thinking), i'll surely look up this fangame when it continues development but for now I wish you a good luck on doing it, surely the end of this will be cool

I like how Kris doesn't move down the stairs during the intro scene, but instead the lights go out then back on, then Kris is suddenly closer. Combined with the ice SFX is very effective!

A short but pretty good game!

Of course, it has a couple of visual and gameplay issues, but it’s well made overall

Visual issues:

Kris’s sprites change palette right in the middle of a cutscene—make them consistent (though the cutscenes are so beautiful they made me cry)

Noelle’s portrait seems to shift slightly to the right it looks a bit odd during dialogue

There aren’t that many attacks, but they’re creative (especially star_rain and star_bomb) though the damage feels pretty unfair like, 67 HP?!?
