The core game is fun, which is a very good start but there are a few things i found.
-Some platforms wouldn't drag me along with them(idk if done on purpose, if so it's more of a nuisance than a challenge)
-Enemies feel more like a nuisance than a challenge
-Snails when shot from below hilariously get stuck in the air and become very helpless
-An options menu would be nice, particularly for adjusting sound volume
-It is annoying having to wait between moving platforms
Other than that it looks, sounds, and feels great.

-enemies will attack you now when you are in their range of triggering the attack state(450 pixels)
-triggering the bug on moving platforms was reduced by 80%
-2nd state boss animation was added and boss will have no collision during that state.

-new enemy called lava snail was added. He cannot fly and will chase player until killed.

-game over room was added where the player will go after dying. There he will be able to go to menu by clickling "Main Menu" button, level selection by clicking "Restart" button and will be able to quickly quit the game with "Quit" button.

-spikes were added, stepping on spikes will hurt you, so be careful with them.

-Player can now use shield by clicking right mouse button. the shield can take 5 hits and automatically recharges at every 100 score points. Player is immune too all kind of damage at every 100 score points while shielding. The buff ends once the player kills an enemy.

Description:
Devils Don't Die is a 2D action shooter, which was made in Game Maker Studio 2. For now it's just a short demo to illustrate what will the future versions contain. I hope you enjoy this litte game and I'm looking forward to releasing new versions.

-W,A,D or Up,left and right arrow keys - jump and move
-Left mouse button - shoot
-Right mouse button - activate/deactivate shield
-E - pause
-Escape - return to menu
