I like the mushroom man's design, the pixel art was good, jumpscares actually got me, and the part where eve's disclaimer glitched out creeped me out a bit tbh
though if i have some criticisms. I feel like the fog level could have some improvements as it's mostly empty and short, it got kind of confusing where to jump cuz of the spotlight camera thing making it difficult to tell which of the mushrooms were part of the background or not.
Overall, it's a promising and good demo :}

Absolutely love it. Great art and game design, and a good understanding of horror. Only one recommendation, though: the jumpscare sound is a little bit goofy. I personally think changing it would be a good choice. Other than that, this demo is really great and really promising, I look forward to seeing where this goes, keep up the good work!
Dominium Fungorum - WORLD 1 DEMO
Dominium Fungorum (originally released as Super Mario Bros DX) is an SMB1-inspired fangame that was said to have been released around 2000-2010. It was originally made by Eve Garcia but finished by her brother, Adam Garcia, after her untimely passing. This is one of the only available copies of this game in existence and has seemingly been tampered with. It contains disturbing imagery not for the faint of heart. I highly recommend you don't play this. Dominium Fungorum takes inspiration from and distills elements from new and old EXE games in order to create a more gameplay-packed experience. While it has jumpscares, it prioritizes disturbing imagery and (pixelated) gore for the horror, rather than solely relying on jumpscares.
