In 1990, Nintendo was preparing for the release of the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) to the rest of the world. They decided to create a recreation of the American Super Mario Bros. 3 game for the NES, but with better graphics and sounds. Nintendo had the developers test Beta versions of the cartridge. However, rumor has it that the cartridge's data had something... unexplainable inside.
