What do you think?

This project sounds awesome! If you ever are in need of a playtester, I'd be glad to help. Hope to see great things from this at some point!

dawg im already doing a semi oficial dsaf remake can we work together

"Welcome back to the Dayshift."

I've been sitting on this idea for a long time, and I'm finally doing something about it. I'm remaking the entire Dayshift at Freddy's trilogy in Godot because these games deserve better than what RPG Maker could offer them. DSaF 1 especially feels rough around the edges now, and I think it's time for a fresh take on all three games.

I thought about using RPG Maker MZ or GameMaker 2 before settling on Godot, but Godot just made the most sense. It's completely free and open source, and it handles cross-platform builds way better than the alternatives. Plus, the engine is flexible enough to let me do pretty much whatever I want without fighting against built-in limitations.

This is one of my first big projects, so I'm figuring things out as I go. I'm working solo right now, but I'd love some help from people who know their way around art, music, coding, or game testing. If you're into DSaF and want to contribute, hit me up.

What I'm building is a single launcher that'll let you play all three games with support for Windows, Linux, and Android. Everything's getting proper widescreen support, and I'm cleaning up the gameplay with improvements that should make the whole experience smoother. I'm particularly excited about expanding the tycoon mechanics from DSaF 3 because I think there's way more potential there than what we got originally.

Beyond that, there's new endings, new music, new random events, new mechanics, new secrets, reworked minigame segments, reworked battles, and more that I'm keeping quiet about for now.

If DSaF is your thing and this project sounds interesting, keep an eye on it.
