Dusttale Tragedy

• Intro

Dusttale Tragedy is @KaosKing 's take on Dusttale. He created it because he despised how many slop like Dusttale takes existed, and how most good Dusttale takes weren't out yet.

Therefore, he created Dusttale Tragedy in attempt to give the community what they deserve: A Dusttale Take which provides constant updates and has a nice community.

Tragedy focuses on the idea of Sans taking action, and making choices which heavily alter the player's experience, similar to how Kris changes the intended path in Deltarune.

And yet, the Player can make several unique choices which can collectively lead to changes in how Sans approaches his massacre. Routes like Genocide, Neutral and Pacifist still affect the story, even more than Sans and your choices.

• Lore

Sans learned about your actions through Deja-Vu routes, which are canon in Undertale. After the first reset, some characters might have vague memories of you, or recognition of your character.

When the Player does several Neutral runs in hopes to find new possibilities, this Deja-Vu was pushed to it's extreme. Flowey, fully remembering these resets, was able to convince Sans of the human's coming presence due to his Deja-Vu.

Flowey, eventually convinced Sans to start a massacre to grow stronger and make the human quit. First Sans was reluctant... But when he knew otherwise that the Player would reset anyway, he decided to start this Tragedy...
