Explosion Time was a game made for LD27 that placed 5th in the category fun. The theme was 10 seconds, so in this little action platformer, meteors rain down from the sky destroying the the terrain. Armed with two laser guns and a rocket launcher, your goal is to take down the big boss helicopter. Five different types of enemies will try to take you out as you travel through the procedurally generated terrain. Collect powerups, utilize bullet time and dig your way through the ground with rockets to take out the big boss helicopter.
If interest grows for this game I'd like to add more enemies, more bosses, more environments, more catastrophes, more weapons, more characters, and more powerups!
Controls
A / D : Move left and right
Space : Jump
Left click : Laser Guns
Right Click : Rocket(s)
Keep moving right, off the screen, to reset the level.
You'll have to restart the game if you die.
