๐Ÿ“… Development Kicked-off: November 29, 2021 - Continued again: November 22, 2023

โ€œThe Fazbear Catalogueโ€ is an immersive take on FNaF VHS tapes, drawing inspiration from various YouTube creators and their distinctive styles. This fan game promises a fresh perspective on the horror genre, set to revive the spine-chilling experience of VHS terror.

PREMISE:

You are a curious explorer who stumbled upon a collection of old tapes from Fazbear Entertainment, a company that ran a chain of pizza restaurants with animatronic mascots. As you watch the tapes, you discover that they were part of a training program for new employees, created by the CEO, Wathel Broggie, who promised them a special offer if they passed his tests.

The tapes are not ordinary, however. They are designed to test your psychic abilities, your teamwork skills, and your compliance with the companyโ€™s instructions. They will ask you questions about your work, your personal life, and the dark secrets of Fazbear Entertainment. You will have to answer them by choosing from multiple options, sometimes under pressure or in the presence of disturbing images and sounds. Depending on your answers, the tapes will change and react to you, revealing more or less of the hidden story behind the company and its animatronics.

Can you watch all the tapes and answear the questions to become the trustworthy Fazbear employee?

- The game meticulously replicates the authentic aesthetic of a VHS-styled project, incorporating various effects and featuring randomized events to ensure a unique experience for each player.

- Operating at 25 Frames Per Second and a resolution of 1024x754, the game is designed to closely adhere to the required overall presentation.

- The game comprises an introductory section with warnings, a main menu, and options settings for Vsync and Volume. These settings are accessible exclusively before initiating the tape, constituting the primary gameplay.

- Within the main menu, players are prompted to select tapes to watch, analogous to choosing chapters in other games. For the initial release, only one tape is available, as the creation of tapes is a labor-intensive process, each potentially offering up to 40 minutes of gameplay.

- Subsequent to the release, additional tapes will be introduced through downloadable content (DLCs) provided in subsequent updates over the following months.

- Certain tapes are segmented to focus on specific skills or aspects of the job, serving as training modules. Examples include segments dealing with animatronics, customer service, or emergency situations.

- Following the conclusion of each tape, a quiz section is implemented, requiring players to respond to questions pertaining to the discussed topics. The answers influence the outcome of the tape/game, adding a consequential element to the gameplay.

- The inaugural tape features a concealed cutscene, unveiling the events transpiring within the tapes and contributing to the overarching narrative.

โš ๏ธ Warning! Brace yourself for flashing lights, startling noises, and unsettling imagery that will haunt your senses. Some in-game content may mirror scenes from YouTube videos by creators like Battington, j-gems, Squimpus McGrimpus, and MemeBear. While acknowledging their influence, this non-profit game aims to offer its unique take on VHS horror, considering FNAF VHS as a shared community legacy.

We found all the original files and got the scripts written. Remains make some other important stuff.

This game is mostly about the lore and atmosphere rather than engaiging and fun fast-paste gameplay. Reminding u, this an interactive VHS tape.

"Greetings, valued employee. If you're watching this, you've just stepped into the world of Fazbear Entertainment. We're not just a company; we're a family. A family built on laughter, joy, and, of course, animatronics."

Game is being worked on again.

Game main menu and settings are going to look like this.
Any suggestions? I mean, only if it would fit the looks of a real VHS then yeah we could think about it. I think this is pretty.
