Pretty good game although i’m stuck on night 4 and i do have some problems:
-Sometimes Manolo or 902 could attack while Drog is about to finish his song which makes it impossible to survive both of them (for my case i had a Manolo and Drog combo)
-Sometimes Generic’s sound cue gets cut out which causes him to kill me without any warning
-Generic can be pretty hard to see in the cams at times
-Sometimes i don’t have enough time to find Generic because of either Manolo or 902 attacking while i’m trying to find him
I really enjoyed the game so far it’s just these issues that gives me a hard time to beat later nights.
Sobrevive mis noches
I haven't beat the game yet, but have come very close on night 5 and can confidently say what the general strategies are.
First you just start and do as many tasks as you can until you hear either enB, Drog, or Generic and deal with those. Once that's through you put your cam on cam 5 and will only switch off to deal with Generic or Drog. From there you just have to know how to survive best.
tips:
Drog doesn't need your attention as soon as they spawn, just wait until the music is near it's end to deal with it. This also helps eliminate some rng with accidentally getting 902 when you go to cam 4 which can result in a situation you can't win.
If you need to deal with both Drog and enB at the same time it can be useful to to raise the mirror up a bit as enB works on a meter rather than timer like the rest.
There are two new enemies on night 5 that don't do much if you strategize well. You just don't shine the light on the eyes thing, and don't flip down cams when the puppet is there otherwise you'll have to deal with that.
In terms of the "reaction enemies" (enemies that don't show up at the door, but require fast action) the priority order is generally Generic, enB, and Drog in that order. This is because you might get very bad luck trying to find Generic, and Drog can be put off until the last minute, and enB can be dealt with in 3 seconds if you catch it early, but is forgiving with it's meter.
Scroll through cams with caution because if you pass Weirdo you lose that cam, but it's only really a game over if it's cam 5 that you lose.
In terms of difficulty here's how I'd rank them
1. Generic: without Generic this game would literally only require you to use 2 cams, and almost never deal with 902 or weirdo. They are the cause of most bad situations in this game. Also the fact there's no clear indicator you caught them makes some situations confusing. Some positions on the cams are very hard to spot, and it's often just rng that decides if you'll find them quickly or not. By far the hardest part of this game. Without Generic this game would be twice as easy.
2. enB: because of the sound issues you will often miss the cue and die unfairly, but also this is the only other enemy aside from Manolo and 902 that requires you to exit the cams.
3. Manolo/902: The two door characters that require you to turn the light off can come at very bad times in tandem with Generic/Drog, but outside of bad timings don't hold much difficulty in tracking. You won't need to face 902 a lot anyways if you don't switch cams a lot, though I am not quite sure how 902 works.
4. Puppet/Weirdo: The two main threats that get in your way of using the cams. Weird is simple to get used to, but requires you to slow down and make sure you don't scroll cams too fast in some cases, because losing any cam is bad when it comes to finding Generic, but it doesn't stop you from dealing with Drog on cam 4 if you lose signal. And puppet just makes you need to adapt and not close cams when on a cam with the puppet or else you are helpless for about 5-7 seconds.
5. Drog: You get a lot of leeway with when you need to deal with Drog. If you hear the music start your main job isn't to deal with it, it's to make sure no one else attacks at the same time that Drog's music ends.
6. The eye thing (I have no clue what it's called): I'm pretty sure all you have to do is just not flash your light on it, which is pretty easy since you shouldn't be flashing often anyways. Just make sure you don't flash after it leaves cam 5. I have not died to this once after learning how it works.
I hope this helps the devs for feedback or helps anyone that needs some advice. This is just what I've learned from spending around 30 attempts on night 5, and I plan on beating it tomorrow. I really enjoy the game!
Yeah I gave night 4 tens attempts but it just feels like the luck needed is too much. My best attempt I got 40/50 before I was hit with drog, 902, neb, and generic all at the same time. I can only imagine what night 5 will feel like if I am able to beat this. Maybe if I gave this game fifty more attempts I could get a lucky enough run, but that's asking a lot for night 4.
The strategy I've found so far is just keeping the cam on cam 5 (the only camera that really matters outside of 4) to track Manolo, and try your hardest to react to everything else. There is literally nothing else you can do except hope for great rng.
I really hope a nerfed/tweaked version comes because the game is very fun outside of the tremendous luck needed in later nights.
I really hope Ben isn't left unsupervised at the pool. It would be a shame if Ben drowned.
Five Nights with Ben
Congratulations employee!
Your hard work on the company finally paid off and so... as a reward, now you´ll have the prestige of being the protagonist of a whole halloween event all for yourself and your slightly different looking friends which will be recorded for the company channel and spread around the whole world for halloween eve, make sure to give the audience a great show while you survive here! we can´t wait to see you here!
Five Nights with Ben is a short fnaf fangame made as a little halloween gift for my friend "Ben" featuring our friends from the channel "Artistas Incomprendidos" as the enemies you´ll fight agaisnt in the game
So what does FNwB feature?
- 5 nights with a extra custom one if you want to challenge yourself
-Ben in a dress! for some reason!
-Spooky designs for the various guests of the channel "A.I."
-around an hour or two of playtime
-hand drawn sprites for literally everything (help)
-Poorly animated jumpscares!
-Training tapes made by my friend Tonic
-and barely anything more!
SOME LITTLE WARNINGS TOO!
Since the game was made originally just for the friend group with ben, some things may not make much sense to outside people, so if something looks like it doesnt make any sense at all, just ignore it as it probably is just a inside joke that got into the game
im not a coder in any way! (i can barely draw man) so if you end up finding a softlock or just want to restart because of some annoying bug the game can always be restarted by using "f2" at anytime
the characters, while redesigned to be spoky by me are NOT mine, dont forget to follow them! their @ are below
(Manolo, Generic, Weirdo, Ben, Frog, Scrap and me)
Also also! none of the music or sound effects are original to this game, the credits to these are included in the extras of the game however if any of the original composers want me to remove their song let me know on my twitter dms
And last thing! this was made with a pirated clickteam copy, what does this mean? it means that every exe i make with it is detected as a false positive when downloaded for the first time , we can assure you that the game is free of any malware so just put it as like an exception in your antivirus or something
or erase the game from the pc and watch a gameplay or something, up to you....
