oh boy the game is great with its earthboundish touch to it's own story to begin but mainly... we move on to the worst part of the demo first the major bugs that the testers should always point out but never do... anyways i am gonna list it here mainly all of them are softlocking if you have more then what the wallet can show on your items the shopkeeper softlocks you from moving. when you fight the first enemy (the fire Ant) you can get stuck if you move more into the fire pit or go to the side of the fire pit after defeating it our main character will endlessly stay in place walking making the days go from day to noon to sunset then night and so forth without the game ever doing the introduction after he enters the house. when you leave the cave you can no longer go back cause when you try to go back you clip through the enterance to return to the cave and never be able to move again(for real i wasn't joking about it all being about softlocks i had to restart over 4 times.) but now that that is out of the way now we can talk about the actual story and gameplay it has the earthboundish tone to it and it shines perfectly the story and adventure of what i have witnessed so far with different button mechanics for the skills you earned are astonishing but simple and that is when the fun begins even though it is only just the first chapter i have to say for now i give it a 7/10 just wished it didn't softlock so much. will upload the video when it is fully uploaded thank you for making this can't wait until the full version or chapter 2 comes out :) here is the link hope everyone enjoys the video: https://youtu.be/qpmy9ddDjHI

The journey of kids with spiritual powers fighting off ancient evil!
SYNOPSIS
Forgiven is a modern role playing game that details the antics of four kids and their struggles of being the most powerful members of their generation: being able to practice supernatural powers– often known as Soulcasting. Powers of the soul are not learned, gained, or bartered; spiritual powers arise merely with the luck of a pure soul. Take control of these characters, and use their special overworld abilities! Dive into battles, and utilize their attacks to destroy enemies strategically. You'll come to know everything about the four, and how they are integral to the story.
CHARACTERS
Firstly, meet Rob, the hero of the story and main party member. You'll often find yourself controlling him, but the adventure can change and you may find yourself with someone else in the lead! Rob loves his peaceful life in his hometown of Logford, but he discovers all can change one night.
Next, you'll meet Noah, a kid with tech smarts, whose father is a researcher of all things supernatural, and disruptions of these natural balances. Noah is skittish about a long journey at first, but his father brings him up to the task.
Quite later, you'll come across Jenny, a girl from Kalao who is proficient at anything related to water. First mistaking the team for villains, she joins the party with no regret and is always up for getting things done.
Finally, you'll be rescued by the very brave Artis; coming quickly to pick the crew up from an accident related to an enemy ship. Artis simply doesn't quit, and loves all kinds of physical activities, from sports to fighting. Artis is a heavy hitter, and you'll quickly come to realize this.

1Final release of Chapter 1 is out for Windows! Adds working fullscreen, configurable gamepad controls, and particles. Wishing everyone a safe Christmas! Can't wait to start work on Chapter 2.
