Good looking game with a consistent mood.
The game feel for the attack and the wall jump is a bit off (maybe missing some more visual feedback for the wall jump and some sfx).
The game over state is a bit rough with no audio cue, control stuck for a while, I felt like the game crashed on me.
I love the artwork and character design. Very cool post processing for blending the game graphics over the GameBoy backdrop, along with the screen-door effect, and the defused drop shadow layer for the pixels. It looks really convincing. :)
With a video delay layer, you could even simulate ghosting. :D
Anyway, awesome work!
Love thegraphics! I included it in part 15 of my GameBoy Jam compilation video series :) http://youtu.be/dc6wOIJHHqo
Great little game, wall jumps and parallax scrolling for the Gameboy, I like it !! Maybe sound effects could add a bit to the experience though. Nice music Dorian btw!! :)
Great graphics, but gameplay is a bit... meh. The boss can be destroyed just by jumping and getting behind him, and then mashing the attack button. Just a bit too easy and short. The frame and sound really gets the gameboy feeling, which is something nice ^_^
Furbrawl is an action-platformer where you play as Fury, a ferret warrior against the evil General Meow.
