In November 2001, KnowWonder released Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for PC and Mac. It featured action/adventure/platforming themes, gameplay powered by Unreal Engine 1, as well as an amazing soundtrack by Jeremy Soule. The game had mixed reviews, but still became one of the best selling PC games of the time. Since then, the game has fallen into obscurity, and EA Games excluded the game from their website for some odd reason. Has the game completely fallen into the void?
No. The classic is BACK in Unreal Engine 4 style. With better controls, visuals, and new content, Harry Potter 1 Unreal Engine 4 is here to fill in the fans' needs for a remake.

2 weeks ago I asked you guys what kind of intro you want for the game. A redrawn, HD remake of the original intro will be done instead of a 3D cutscene. Keep in mind that, if enough people say otherwise, this decision can still change...
I'm also working on a Chamber of Secrets remake. This has influenced some things with the development of this game. HP1 Remake will use animations and models from HP2, unless models from HP1 are needed. Of course, the textures will be redone in HD.
Entirely new intro or just an HD remake of the original? An HD remake of the original can be found in a previous post.
UPDATE: Most people are saying HD remake as of now. Keep in mind it will be a scene for scene 2D vid of the OG with HD drawings.
