In Hyper Overdrive, you assume the role of a girl in the early 1980s, during the pinnacle of the new wave movement. After stumbling upon a mysterious floppy disk, you boot it up only to be sucked into your (dinosaur) computer! Utilizing logic and platforming is the only way you can ever hope to escape this digital fantasy!
Hyper Overdrive pays homage to 1980s action movies, synthpop culture, and classic logic-puzzle games from the era such as Robot Odyssey and Rocky's Boots.
